Hiroshi Sasaki is a Senior Scientist at 10x Genomics since August 2021, contributing to the Assay Development and Product Integration teams for the #Xenium In Situ platform, focusing on decoding biochemistry and assay quality control systems. Prior to this role, Sasaki served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at both the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering and Harvard Medical School from July 2015 to July 2021, where significant advancements were made in in situ single-cell super-resolution imaging technologies. Earlier experience includes a Research Associate position at The University of Tokyo and a graduate student role, culminating in a Ph.D. in Structural Biology from The University of Tokyo. Notable research includes pioneering work on single-molecule fluorescence microscopy and the mechanisms of genetic code translation fidelity.
