Steve LaPorte is an experienced professional with a solid background in various roles throughout their career. Steve started their career at 1-800-GOT-JUNK? in 2004 as a Help Desk Manager and later moved on to become a Business Development Consultant. In 2009, they took on the role of Operations Services Manager, where they implemented projects to enhance operational efficiency and revenue opportunities. As the Director of Initiatives from 2010 to 2012, they led the department responsible for designing and implementing programs across the company's international franchise system.
In 2013, LaPorte joined Mindfield Group as Director of Customer Success & Implementations, overseeing the development and implementation of a customer implementation strategy and leading the company's customer experience strategy. Steve also served as Director of Strategic Initiatives and Director of Product and Customer Experience during their time at Mindfield Group.
In 2016, LaPorte returned to 1-800-GOT-JUNK? as Director of Product Management, responsible for managing the product portfolio. Steve was later promoted to Director of Franchise Operations in 2020 and subsequently became the Vice President of Franchise Operations in 2022. In these roles, LaPorte played a vital role in driving operational excellence and ensuring the success of the company's franchise system.
Steve LaPorte attended Royal Roads University from 2003 to 2004, where they obtained a BCOM degree in Entrepreneurship. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2002, they pursued a Diploma in Information Technology Management at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
