Samia Bayou currently serves as the Director and Head of Financing Europe at FalconX since July 2024 and is a member of the Board of Advisors for the 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair since November 2021. Prior to these roles, Samia held various leadership positions at Kraken Digital Asset Exchange, including Global Head of Lending Institutional Sales and Head of Lending OTC Sales EMEA, from December 2022 to July 2024. Additional experience includes serving as Vice President and Global Head of Private Client for BlockFi, Senior Investment Advisor to the Chairman & Managing Director at a Private Single Family Office, and Senior Private Banker MENA at Societe Generale Private Banking. Samia's career also includes roles at UBS as a Client Advisor for MENA Markets, Merrill Lynch as a Financial Advisor on the International desk, and Citi as a Relationship Manager. Samia holds a Bachelor's degree in French literature and philosophy from King's College London and a Bachelor's degree in Literature from Université Paris-Sorbonne, complemented by a French Baccalaureate in Economics & Social Sciences from Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle de Londres.
