Dominic Lobbia is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in the gaming industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Zynga since January 2019, Dominic has previously held significant roles including Senior Director of Technology at Disney Interactive, where responsibilities included technical leadership on notable mobile games such as "Star Wars: Commander" and managing live product operations. At Zynga from 2011 to 2016, Dominic led the development of shared technology for various game teams, contributing to major titles like "Zynga Poker" and "Words With Friends." Earlier career highlights include serving as Senior Director of R&D at Namco Bandai Games America, where personnel management and cross-discipline collaboration were key responsibilities, and executive roles in Japan with Interactive Brains Co. Ltd. and Namco Ltd., focusing on mobile game development and programming. Dominic began professional endeavors as an Assistant Language Teacher with the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme and has a B.S. in Computer Science from UC San Diego.
