Kumu Kumar is an experienced professional in risk management and engineering, currently serving as the Head of Zurich Resilience Solutions UK at Zurich Insurance plc since March 2015, focusing on enhancing customer insights for effective risk management. Prior roles include Director of Risk Engineering (UK) at Zurich, where strategic direction and leadership of a technical servicing team were key responsibilities. Kumu previously held the position of Head of Operational Risk at Marsh, overseeing multiple operational teams, and served as Operations Manager at RSA, where significant system improvements were achieved. Early career experience includes leadership in pharmaceutical research and engineering roles related to pollution control systems. Kumu holds a BEng (Hons) degree in Chemical Engineering from Teesside University.
