Juan Zaplana is an accomplished procurement and technology expert with extensive experience in eProcurement, eSourcing, and solutions deployment. Currently serving as a Procurement & Coupa Subject Matter Expert at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd since September 2015, Juan has played a pivotal role in the Global Transformation Program, successfully implementing Coupa in 15 countries across multiple regions, while managing stakeholder relationships and service delivery. Prior to Zurich, Juan worked at CSC as an Ariba On Demand Consultant, focusing on finance transformation and procurement processes, and held a variety of roles related to SAP SRM support and Ariba consultancy. Starting a career in automation design, Juan holds a Master’s in Computer Science from Universidad de Oviedo and has completed several specialized training courses in Mulesoft, Coupa, and ITIL.
