Jason Ward is a highly experienced data science professional currently serving as Chief Scientist and Director of Data Science at Zühlke Group since July 2022. In addition to this role, Jason has been a STEM Ambassador since June 2019, specializing in quantum topics, data and artificial intelligence, statistics in STEM, and particle physics. Jason's previous positions include Chief Data Scientist at the Joint Biosecurity Centre, Managing Principal for Data Science at Valtech, and Senior Portfolio Manager at Altis Partners. Early career highlights include a fellowship at CERN focused on the W boson mass measurement, and a postdoctoral researcher role at the University of Glasgow. Jason holds a Ph.D. in Elementary Particle Physics from UCL and a degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
