Katharine Spano has a strong background in mental health and addiction counseling. Katharine'smost recent position was as an Integrated Behavioral Health Provider at Zufall Health, starting in December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a UR Specialist at GenPsych starting in November 2020. Katharine also served as an Outpatient Therapist at the Family Guidance Center of Warren County from June 2020 to November 2020. Before that, they worked as a Therapist at DASACC from September 2019 to May 2020. Spano's earlier experience includes being a Chemical Dependency Counselor at the Addiction Center of Broome County from July 2016 to December 2018.

Katharine Spano earned their Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from SUNY Broome Community College in the years 2005 to 2007. Katharine then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature, General at the State University of New York at Oswego from 2007 to 2009. Following this, they attended Binghamton University from 2014 to 2016 where they acquired a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) degree in the field of Social Work.
