J Dawgert Carlin currently serves as the Interim Vice President of Academic Affairs at Lake Tahoe Community College and is an Advisory Board Member at Zschool. As the Principal Consultant at JCarlin/Leading with Insight Consulting since 1989, J Dawgert Carlin offers management and leadership consulting services to not-for-profit organizations, businesses, and government agencies. Previous experience includes serving as Dean at City College of San Francisco, chairing the Behavioral Sciences Department, and holding faculty positions at several institutions, including Napa Valley College and John F. Kennedy University. J Dawgert Carlin has also co-directed a mental health clinic, provided psychotherapy services in a private practice, and volunteered for community mental health initiatives. J Dawgert Carlin is pursuing a Doctorate in Leadership and Equity at the University of Colorado Denver, building on a robust educational background in psychology and geography.
