Andreas Hartl currently serves as the Senior Vice President for Asia Pacific and Japan at Zscaler, a position held since October 2023. Prior to this, Andreas worked at AVEVA as Senior Vice President, Cloud, from September 2020 to July 2023, contributing to digital transformation solutions for industry leaders. From August 2017 to July 2020, Andreas held the role of Vice President and General Manager at IBM, overseeing Cloud & Software initiatives across Asia Pacific. Andreas's career also includes significant tenures at Microsoft, where responsibilities spanned from General Manager of the Cloud + Enterprise Division in Asia Pacific to COO for Central Eastern Europe. Additionally, Andreas has experience in strategic roles within the open Source Business Foundation. Academic credentials include a Master's degree from the University of Applied Sciences Munich and studies in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the Technical University of Munich.
