Lena Hillenga is an experienced professional currently serving as an Adviseur medezeggenschap via het LSR at ZorgSpectrum since July 2023. Lena is a co-founder of jouwontdekkingsreis.nl alongside two fellow coaches and has been active as a Trainer teamontwikkeling at Horizon-netwerk and a Remissie coach at Shit or Shine since April 2022. Since April 2015, Lena has operated independently as a coach, advisor, and trainer, and has held roles as a supporter and advisor for medezeggenschap at Elver and several other organizations. Lena served as the chair of the centrale cliëntenraad at Zorggroep Almere from December 2022 to July 2024 and conducted training on dementia awareness for Samen dementievriendelijk until October 2022. Lena's educational background includes certifications in various training and coaching programs with foundational studies in Nursing from Hanzehogeschool Groningen.
