Giles Andrews OBE is a prominent entrepreneur and board member specializing in the financial technology sector. As co-founder and board member of Zopa, the world's first peer-to-peer lending business, Andrews has played a pivotal role in its evolution into a next-generation bank since 2004. In addition to Zopa, Andrews has held various leadership positions, including chairman of Octopus Electric Vehicles, carwow, and former chairman of Kriya and Bethnal Green Ventures, focusing on tech for good investments. Andrews also serves as an independent non-executive director for Bank of Ireland and C. Hoare & Co., and has been active in thought leadership as a board member of the City of London/Innovate Finance FinTech Strategy Group. Andrews holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Master of Arts in Experimental Psychology from the University of Oxford.
