Braden McDorman is an experienced engineering manager and software engineer with a focus on robotics and software development. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Zoox since June 2023, Braden previously held roles as Senior Software Engineer and contributed to scenario authoring and simulation. As a board member and technical advisory committee chair at the KISS Institute for Practical Robotics since May 2019, Braden provides guidance on educational robotics software and hardware. Co-founder and CTO of Semio, Braden has been instrumental in developing a software platform for various robotic applications. Additional advisory roles have included work with Bobble Sports, enhancing fan engagement through technology. Prior experience includes software engineering roles at KISS Institute for Practical Robotics, Disney Research, Microsoft, New Spin 360, and as a teaching and research assistant at the University of Oklahoma. Braden holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Oklahoma and a high school diploma from the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics.
