Chelsea McCoy currently serves as a Visiting Faculty - Operations and User Services Librarian at Grand Valley State University since January 2023. Prior to this role, Chelsea worked as a Community Engagement Librarian at Loutit District Library from September 2019 to January 2023, where responsibilities included coordinating library promotions and designing promotional materials using Canva. Chelsea's experience also encompasses roles as a Youth Librarian I/Marketing Coordinator and an Information Substitute at Kent District Library, as well as a Youth Services Library Assistant II at Grand Rapids Public Library, where programming for children was a primary focus. Chelsea began a career in education as an Admissions Counselor at Cornerstone University, where a promotion occurred from the position of Admissions Counselor's Assistant. Chelsea holds a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communication from Cornerstone University.
