Marjet Opdam is currently serving as a Participatie en activiteiten coördinator & woonbegeleider at Rode Kruis Nederland since September 2022. Prior experience includes a research internship at Onderzoeksinstituut IVO, focusing on a master thesis related to the COVID-19 pandemic's impact on individuals in drug addiction recovery, and a research internship at Athena - Research and Education Institute. Marjet also gained experience as a Testcentrum medewerker at NCOI Groep, overseeing exam candidates, and a Bron- en contactonderzoek medewerker COVID-19 at GGD Zaanstreek - Waterland, where responsibilities included contact tracing. Further roles include working as a Medisch secretaresse at OLVG and a research intern at VUmc. Marjet holds a Master's degree in Management, Policy Analysis and Entrepreneurship in Health & Life Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Health and Life Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. High school education was completed at Het Rhedens Rozendaal, focusing on Nature and Health.
