Mauricio Vega has a diverse work experience in procurement and sourcing. Mauricio currently holds the position of Director of Sourcing at ZOLL Medical Corporation, where they reorganized the procurement function and developed a sourcing group using advanced commodity management techniques. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Procurement at A.W. Chesterton Company, where they were responsible for spend, sourcing, and procurement activities globally. Mauricio also gained experience at OSRAM, where they held various positions such as Procurement Manager, Plant Procurement Manager, Advanced Purchasing Engineer/Project Procurement Manager, Project Leader, and Process Engineer. Throughout their career, they have focused on improving procurement processes, vendor development, and cost reduction initiatives.

Mauricio Vega completed an International Employee Development Year at Siemens Technik Akademie Berlin in 2008. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso between 1998 and 2003.
