Julia Tan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Julia is currently working as a Software Engineer at ZOE since November 2020. Prior to that, they were the Co-Founder and Software Engineer/COO at Peg.co, a software company specializing in influencer marketing products from August 2014 to October 2020. Julia also co-founded Robin Recycle, a company focusing on food waste recycling for Londoners, from March 2020 to September 2020. Julia started their career as an Analyst in M&A Advisory at Citi in June 2006 and then joined HSBC as an Associate in M&A Advisory from August 2009 to February 2010. Before that, they had internship experiences at Citi in 2005 and 2003. Julia also worked as a Frontend Web Developer at Steer in October 2013 and held various roles in the Debt Advisory Group at DC Advisory (formerly Close Brothers Corporate Finance) from March 2010 to October 2013. Additionally, they briefly worked as a Software Engineer at Makers Academy in May 2014. Overall, Julia has a strong background in software engineering, entrepreneurship, and finance.

Julia Tan obtained their MEng degree in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Julia later pursued an MSc degree in Finance at the same institution from 2005 to 2007. In addition to their academic qualifications, Julia also has several certifications. Julia is a certified Executive Coaching Practitioner, having obtained a diploma from AoEC - The Academy of Executive Coaching in January 2019. Julia also holds a Coaching Skills Certificate from the same institution, which they obtained in June 2018. Furthermore, they are a certified Holistic Nutritionist, having obtained a certification from AFPA American Fitness Professionals & Associates in October 2018. Lastly, Julia is YouTube Certified, having obtained certification from YouTube in February 2016.
