Gabriel Torres is a highly experienced professional in the field of chemical engineering and battery technology. Currently serving as a Senior Battery Test Engineer at Zitara since May 2024, Gabriel leads initiatives to produce high-quality data for training battery models and provides technical leadership in battery test design and implementation. Prior experience includes a role as Director of Product Management at Sionic Energy, where Gabriel managed product and market roadmaps and provided business support to cross-functional teams. Gabriel's extensive tenure at NOHMs Technologies, Inc. included positions as Lead Chemical Engineer and Chemical Engineer, where innovative electrolyte technologies for lithium batteries were developed, and project management for high-performance battery electrolyte studies was executed. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University.
