Julia Pollak is a seasoned labor economist currently working at ZipRecruiter since August 2018. Julia has an extensive background that includes serving as a Drilling Reservist in the US Navy Reserve from January 2011 to March 2022, and as an Adjunct Instructor at Pepperdine University, where Julia taught various economics courses. Prior experience includes a role as an Assistant Policy Researcher at RAND Corporation from September 2012 to August 2018, where Julia contributed to public policy solutions, as well as a position as a Research Assistant for Defense Studies at The Heritage Foundation, focusing on defense strategy and military readiness. Julia holds a Master’s Degree in Policy Analysis from Pardee RAND Graduate School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard University.
