Nilu Sam has a strong background in software engineering and application development.

Starting in 2021, Nilu worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Zip Co. Prior to that, from February 2021 to June 2021, Nilu served as a Senior Mobile Engineer at Shine Solutions Group.

From 2018 to 2020, Nilu worked as a Mobile Application Developer at United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB). In 2018, Nilu was an Android Developer at DBS Bank.

In 2017, Nilu worked as a Software Consultant at CSC, where their role involved being a developer and point of contact for E-Letters for Singapore Prison Services.

From 2014 to 2016, Nilu was a Senior Application Consultant at NCS Group, where they led the development of the MyTransport app, which received multiple awards. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2015, Nilu worked as a Senior Application Consultant at nilumz@gmail.com, where they were involved in native iOS framework development for McDonald's and the development of the Personal Health Tablet for Philips.

Earlier in their career, Nilu worked as a Software Engineer at Codegen from 2010 to 2012 and as an Intern at DirectFN from 2008 to 2009.

Nilu Sam attended the University of Moratuwa from 2006 to 2010, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science & Engineering.
