Mindy Murdock CPRP, CHI currently serves as the Director of Recreation Services for the Town of Zionsville, overseeing year-round recreational programming for various age groups, including seniors and youth. With a focus on environmental education, Mindy has developed and managed programs at the Zion Nature Center while also providing managerial oversight and coordinating interpretive services within the Zionsville Park system. Mindy has previously held positions such as Interim Superintendent of Parks and Recreation, where responsibilities included supervising staff and managing park operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior experience includes roles at Cleveland Metroparks as a Naturalist II and Seasonal Naturalist, and as a Seasonal Interpretive Naturalist at Summit Metro Parks. Mindy holds a Bachelor's Degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from Kent State University and a Master's Degree in Biology from The University of Akron.
