Edward P. Schreiber is Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer for Zions Bancorporation. Before joining Zions in April 2013, he was a managing director of Alvarez & Marsal’s Financial Industry Advisory Services, where he headed the company’s enterprise risk management efforts. Previously, he served for eleven years as executive vice president and chief risk officer at TD Bank, and its predecessor companies. While there, his responsibilities included oversight of compliance, and credit, operational and market risk. Schreiber began his banking career with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. During his 19 years there, he served in managerial, analytical and technical positions. Schreiber has a bachelor’s degree in political science from the College of Santa Fe in New Mexico and received a certificate from the Graduate School of Banking in Colorado. He currently sits on the Risk Management Association’s Board of Directors and Enterprise Risk Council. He has been a speaker at industry conferences, trade associations and outreach sessions and taught risk management at the former New England Banking School.
