Ken Trayling has a diverse work experience in the field of RF engineering. Ken started their career as a Junior Engineer at Matra Marconi Space in 1993. Ken then worked as an RF Design Engineer at Bell Northern Research's Wireless Technology Lab in 1995. Their expertise grew as they became a Senior RF Engineer and Team Leader at Nortel, where they led a team in developing RF Power Amplifiers, Remote Radio Heads, and Indoor Radio Modems. In their role, they were responsible for system and circuit design, PCB layout, and contributions to mechanical and thermal design. Ken also worked at AceAxis (formerly Axis Network Technology) as a Principal RF Engineer, specializing in LTE/WCDMA 2.1GHz 2x40W FDD RRH development. Since 2014, they have been a RF Circuit Design Consultant at Woodford-RF and recently joined Zinwave as their Principal RF Engineer in 2017.
Ken Trayling attended the University of Bradford from 1988 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronic Engineering. Ken then continued their education at the same university from 1991 to 1992, earning a Master of Science degree in RF & Microwave Communications Engineering.
