Arpit Garg is a data and AI professional currently working at Next Gate Tech since August 2024, focusing on finance. Simultaneously, since October 2022, Arpit serves as a Visiting Fellow at ZINC, where support is provided to a cohort of founders in developing data-driven, scalable solutions to address climate change. Prior experience includes roles as a Data Engineer and Senior Software Engineer in Data & ML at Tractable from April 2021 to September 2024, along with positions at Visa as a Senior Data Engineer and Big Data Engineer, and at EverString as a Data Engineer for Big Data. Early career experiences encompass working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois, where contributions included research on disease associations and management of mining project databases in Africa. Arpit's educational background includes a Master's degree in Information and Data Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
