Michael Johanson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in aerospace and engineering, currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Business Development & Strategic Planning at ZIN Technologies, Inc. since February 2005. In this role, Michael leads strategic planning for NASA and aerospace-related business opportunities, focusing on identifying new prospects and overseeing proposal development. Prior experience includes positions as Engineering Manager at Glenn Engineering and Scientific Services, where management of over 110 engineers was key to supporting NASA GRC, and as Project Manager/Director of Engineering at Northrop Grumman, responsible for the NASA GRC Telescience Support Center. Michael also has a background in managing complex spaceflight systems at NYMA, Dynacs, and Federal Data Corporation, and played a significant role in Spacelab missions at McDonnell Douglas Aerospace. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Tennessee Space Institute.
