Lauren Childers has a diverse work experience. Lauren began their career in 2003 as an Instructor/ Lead Instructor at Sylvan Learning Centers. In this role, they taught a variety of programs, including Academic Reading, Beginning Reading, Advanced Reading (Speed Reading), Academic Math, Advanced Math, Study Skills, SAT Prep, and Homework Support. At two centers, they also held the position of Lead Teacher, which included scheduling and training support of teachers. In 2009, they began working at Zimmdot, LLC as the CEO, where they were responsible for keeping the trains running on time, as well as bills, paperwork, scheduling, office managing, and general support for the developers and artists.

Lauren Childers attended Georgia Institute of Technology and Wesleyan College.
