Ernesto Benedito is a seasoned engineering manager with extensive experience in software development and team leadership. Currently serving as a Sr. Engineering Manager at Ziff Davis since April 2023, Ernesto previously held the role of Software Development Manager at JSI, overseeing four agile teams and managing project backlogs and release plans. Prior experience includes positions at VirtaMove, where Ernesto managed a diverse team focused on software development and customer support, and co-founding eStaffMatch Inc. as CTO, leading engineering efforts that earned recognition in the Techstars Metro Accelerator program. Ernesto's earlier roles span leadership positions at Mitel and Nokia IP Voice Networks, as well as foundational experiences as an independent contractor and vice-president of Grupo Magnasafe Intl. Ernesto earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar.
