Daphne Baker is a seasoned professional in meetings and events management, currently serving as Senior Director of Meetings Management EMEA at BCD Meetings & Events since January 2019. With extensive experience at Grass Roots Meetings and Events since March 2008, Daphne has held positions including Head of Account Management, focusing on key accounts and leading a team of Account Directors and Managers, and Account Director, where responsibility included the management and growth of key accounts. Earlier experience at Accor Hotels spanned from 2000 to 2008, encompassing various sales and management roles within the Meetings & Events sector. Daphne holds a BA Hons in Business Management from Edinburgh Napier University, obtained between 1998 and 2000.
