Carl Zhang is a dedicated professional currently serving as a VC Intern at ZhenFund since January 2023, with additional roles as a Campus Scout at GoAhead Ventures and a VC Fellow at Amino Capital both starting in October 2022. Extensive experience includes evaluating investment potentials for over 50 companies, conducting due diligence on startups in digital health, Fintech, and Web3, and connecting academic projects to venture capitalists as Connect Chair for Stanford Students in Biodesign and Biopharma. Zhang has contributed to fostering campus growth as Head of Campus Growth at The ORCA Network and has a strong research background in optimizing injectable microribbon hydrogel technology at Stanford University School of Medicine. With a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Symbolic Systems from Stanford University, Zhang also previously held a leadership position in growth and marketing at Arete Education.
