Rachel Empey has extensive experience in high-level financial and strategic roles within major corporations. Currently serving as a Supervisory Board and Audit Committee Member at BMW Group and ZF Group, Rachel has held significant positions in various organizations including Fresenius Medical Care Management AG as a Supervisory Board Member and Fresenius Group as Group CFO and Member of the Management Board. Prior to these roles, Rachel was a Non-Executive Director at Inchcape plc and led critical financial operations at Telefonica Deutschland Holding AG, where responsibilities included CFO duties and strategic leadership. Rachel's career began with positions at Alcatel-Lucent and Weir Strachan & Henshaw, accumulating valuable expertise across finance and business management. Rachel holds an MA in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Oxford and is a member of the ICAEW.
