Josef Hermes has extensive experience in corporate compliance, security, and legal counsel, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Corporate Compliance & Security, Foreign Trade, and Chief Compliance Officer at ZF Group since April 2000. Previously, Josef held several senior roles within TRW Automotive, including Vice President & Assistant General Counsel and Senior Counsel. Prior to joining ZF Group, Josef was a Partner Attorney at Law at CMS Derks Star Busmann and gained earlier experience at Mannheimer Swartling and the Bertelsmann Foundation. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Law and Legal Studies from Georgetown University Law Center, alongside legal training at the Oberlandesgericht Köln.
