Lauren Burton has held a variety of roles since 2017. Lauren worked as an Account Manager at The Phoenix Works from 2017 to 2019. In 2019, they held two roles concurrently, working as a Hospice Nursing Assistant and a Community Fundraiser at Sue Ryder, as well as a Research and Administrative Assistant at St. Gemma's Hospice. In 2020, they were a Complex First Responder at Complete Care Agency Ltd. In 2021, they became Self Employed at Handmade by Lauren. Currently, they are a Customer Experience Executive and an Operations Administrator at Zest.

Lauren Burton attended Leeds Beckett University from 2009 to 2012, where they earned a degree in Playwork.
