Steven T. Pelote has a diverse work experience in the dental and medical industries. Steven T. started their career at Royce Medical, where they worked as a Project Manager and R&D Engineer, focusing on the development of patented products. Steven T. then joined OMNIlife science as a Senior Design Engineer, where they designed and developed a new line of off-the-shelf ACL knee braces.
In 2006, Pelote joined Zimmer Dental as a Senior Design Engineer, leading the final stages of product development and commercialization for the Zimmer One-Piece Implant. Steven T. also played a key role in scoping and planning Zimmer's Digital Dentistry Program and the acquisition of a dental CAD/CAM restoration manufacturer. Steven T. later became the Engineering Services Manager, managing the development of a CAD/CAM abutment cell and a highly innovative Trabecular Metal implant.
Most recently, Pelote has been working at Zest Anchors, LLC as the Design Engineering Manager and was later promoted to Director of Research and Development. In these roles, they have demonstrated their expertise in product design controls, regulatory requirements, and manufacturing operations in the dental industry.
Steven T. Pelote earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego, completing their studies between 1991 and 1996.
