Miles Dai is a software engineer currently contributing to zeroRISC, a start-up focused on enhancing hardware security. Prior experience includes a role at Google, where Miles was involved in the development of OpenTitan, an open-source silicon root-of-trust. During a tenure at MIT CSAIL as a graduate student researcher, Miles investigated side-channel attacks on computer processors and co-authored a publication on the topic. Additional engineering internships were completed at Amazon Web Services, focusing on optimizing deep learning models, and at Dimensional Insight, where Miles developed front-end data visualizations. Educational accomplishments include a Master of Engineering in Hardware Security and Computer Systems from MIT, along with a Bachelor’s degree from the same institution, and a Core 40 Academic Honors Diploma from Carmel High School.
