Maria Gehl is the Director of Practice and Field Operations at ZERO TO THREE, overseeing the implementation of the Safe Babies Court Teamâ„¢ Approach. Maria also created and secured funding for the Mindfulness in Early Childhood Project and led the Programmatic Assistance for Tribal Home Visiting initiative. Prior to their current role, Maria served as Assistant Project Director managing technical assistance for Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting grantees. Maria has extensive experience providing support for evidence-based home visiting programs and has a background in grants and program evaluation. Maria holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Hamilton College.
