Sigrun Aasland currently serves as Statssekretær at Klima- og miljødepartementet since May 2024. Prior to this role, Sigrun was the leader at Miljøstiftelsen ZERO. Sigrun holds a Master's degree in International Economics and Conflict Management from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), obtained between September 2001 and May 2003, and a Cand. mag. degree from the University of Bergen, completed in June 2001.
