James Yen has a diverse work experience in the biopharmaceutical and molecular diagnostics industries. James currently serves as the Director of Translational Science and CDx Development at Zentalis Pharmaceuticals. Prior to this, they held various roles at NeoGenomics Laboratories, including Director of CDx Strategy, Associate Scientific Director of CDx Programs, and Senior Scientist in Scientific Affairs. Before joining NeoGenomics, James worked as Biopharm Molecular Supervisor at GE Healthcare (Clarient), where they managed FISH, Molecular, and assay development teams. James also has experience as a Senior Scientist at MDxHealth and as a Scientist at Zymo Research Corp, where they focused on molecular diagnostics assay development and epigenetics research. Overall, James has expertise in translational science, CDx development, scientific consultation, assay development, and project management.
James Yen completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry/Cell Biology at UC San Diego from 1999 to 2003. James then pursued a Ph.D. in Biology at the University of California, Irvine - College of Medicine from 2003 to 2008.
