Jake Mutter has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Jake is currently working as a Sr. Structural Analysis Engineer at Zeno Power. Prior to this, they worked at Oscilla Power, Inc. as a Sr. Product Development Engineer, where they led the development of two small-scale applications of wave conversion technology and successfully deployed a full-scale Triton-C prototype device.
Before joining Oscilla Power, Inc., Jake worked at BLUE ORIGIN as a Mechanical Engineer, specializing in GS1 Mechanical Systems. Jake was responsible for the design, analysis, and qualification testing of flight designs, with a focus on planetary gearbox and subassembly.
Jake also gained valuable experience during their time at UWashington Formula Motorsports, where they were a member of the Formula Motorsports Team for four years. In their role as the Technical Director, they defined vehicle requirements, integrated system improvements, and oversaw the technical development of multiple teams.
Furthermore, Jake has interned at TEAGUE as a Technical Design Intern and Mechanical Design Intern, as well as at Boeing as an Advanced Manufacturing Product Development Intern.
