Chris Brughuis has a diverse work experience across various industries. Chris is currently working at Zencargo as the Head of Sales Benelux since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Business Development Manager at Zencargo from January 2022 to April 2023.

Before joining Zencargo, Chris worked at Rhenus Logistics Nederland, where they held the positions of International Key Account Manager from January 2018 to December 2021, and Sales Executive from February 2015 to January 2018.

Chris also has experience working at PostNL as an Account Manager Extra@Home from December 2013 to February 2015, and as a Markt Manager Extra@Home from October 2012 to March 2014.

Furthermore, Chris worked as a Management Trainee at H&S Foodtrans B.V. from October 2011 to September 2012.

Chris gained additional experience as a Stagiair Strategie en Besluitvorming and Stagiair Ruimtelijke Plannen at ARCADIS from December 2010 to June 2011, and from August 2010 to December 2010, respectively.

Chris also worked as a Stagiair Product Management at TUI Nederland from September 2007 to February 2008, and as an Allround medewerker at Vacansoleil Camping Holidays in Montbron, France, from May 2005 to September 2005.

Chris Brughuis attended Utrecht University from 2008 to 2009, where they pursued a minor in Human Geography under the Chairgroup Geosciences. Chris then enrolled at Wageningen University & Research from 2009 to 2011, earning a Master of Science (Msc) degree in Leisure, Tourism, and Environment. In 2011, Chris Brughuis completed a CIRN Excellence Management Traineeship at CIRM. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Leisure and Tourism from Saxion University of Applied Sciences between 2005 and 2009. In 2004, Chris briefly studied at TIO Business School, specializing in Commercieel Toeristisch Medewerker. Lastly, in 2017 and 2018, they attended Pawlik, where they received specialized sales and marketing operations training through their Sales Excellence program.
