Jan Barnewall possesses extensive experience in health and safety management, currently serving as the Director of Environmental Health & Safety at Zekelman Industries since January 2013. In this role, Jan oversees health and safety for all plant teammates, implementing and designing health and safety programs, conducting incident investigations and corrective actions, providing safety training, managing worker's compensation claims, and engaging in technical writing on various safety procedures. Additionally, Jan held the position of WHSM III at Amazon Fulfillment Centre and Service Provider from July 2021 to July 2023. Jan holds certifications including CRSP, CHSC, and CIT.
