Josef Bruegger has extensive work experience in finance and audit roles, starting as an Accountant at Toni Molkerei Zürich in 1979. Josef then progressed to roles such as Controller at Sulzer, CFO at Sulzer Plasma Technik Inc., and Manager Finance & Administration at Sulzer Metco AG. Their career culminated in senior positions at Zehnder Group International AG, where they served as Manager Shared Service Center Switzerland, CFO, Head Group Internal Audit & Compliance, and currently as Head Group Internal Audit. Throughout their career, Josef has demonstrated a strong financial acumen and leadership skills.

Josef Bruegger completed their primary and secondary education in Switzerland. Josef obtained a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Applied Sciences Bern in 1986. In 1997, they received a Controller's Diplom from Controller Akademie in Gauting/Munich, Germany. In 2016, they became a Certified Internal Auditor through the CIA program. Finally, in 2017, they earned a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Compliance Management from the University of St.Gallen.
