Matthew B. Davis is an information security analyst at Zaviant. Matthew previously worked as a cybersecurity solutions sales engineer at INTRUSION, Inc. from October 2020 to September 2021. In this role, they supported regional sales teams by assisting with presentations, demonstrations, and Q&A during customer meetings. Matthew was also responsible for ordering products, consulting on network topologies, customer support, and on-premises troubleshooting.
During their time at INTRUSION, Inc., Matthew also contributed to weekly engineering team meetings and technical support team meetings. Matthew assisted the company's strategic partners with presentations, demonstrations, and Q&A in the USA and UK, as well as Zoom webinars and live in-person seminars. Additionally, they assisted the Cyber Threat Hunting department with open source intelligence research of Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs) and nation-state attacks.
Matthew has experience with VirusTotal, IBM X-Force Exchange, AlienVault OTX, U.S. National Vulnerability Database of CVEs, Mitre Attack Framework, Intrusion's proprietary Savant Threat Analysis and TraceCop Database, Microsoft Office 365 Suite, Cisco WebEx and Microsoft Teams, Salesforce and Zendesk, Signal, Ring Central. Matthew participated in weekly team forecasting meetings while at INTRUSION, Inc.
However, after mass layoffs occurred at the company, Matthew resigned from their position as they did not see a future there. Matthew is now an information security analyst at Zaviant.
Matthew B. Davis has a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and a Master of Science in Athletics Administration from the University of Dallas and Florida State University, respectively. Matthew also has a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from Florida State University. In addition, they are certified by OneTrust in Consent and Preference Management, Discovery, and Cookie Consent Management, and by the University of Dallas in Cyber Defense and Leading Ethical Change.
