Valentine Gogichashvili has extensive experience in engineering and data management, currently serving as Director of Engineering at Zalando since August 2010, with roles including Head of Apps Engineering and Interim Head of Client Engineering. Prior experience includes leadership positions at Magic Internet GmbH and MyVideo as a Senior Java Developer and Lead DBA, as well as a Team Leader at GET Information Technology GmbH and a Bioinformatician at Biofrontera Pharmaceuticals AG. Early career roles included System Administrator and Scientific Assistant in various organizations. Valentine holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Physics and Informatics from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
