Sebastian Herold is a seasoned data engineering professional with extensive experience in architecting and managing data platforms. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Data Engineer at Zalando since July 2022, Sebastian is tasked with creating a secure and efficient self-service data platform for over 1,000 employees. Previously, Sebastian held the position of Big Data Architect at Zalando SE from January 2018 to July 2022, and prior to that, served as Engineering Manager and Big Data Architect at Scout24 Group and ImmobilienScout24.
