Murat Polat has extensive experience in humanitarian management, currently serving as the Head of Office at Zakat Foundation of America since June 2017. Responsibilities include needs assessment and establishment of tent villages following regional disasters, oversight of a psychotherapy center project in Adıyaman, and management of food distribution initiatives in Turkey and Syria. Prior to this role, Murat Polat was the General Manager at Bir Nefes İnsani Yardımlaşma ve Dayanışma Derneği from October 2014 to May 2017, focusing on project monitoring and official communications. Earlier experience includes working as a Document Controller at Gaziantep İlim Yardımlaşma ve Dayanışma Derneği, assisting refugees with resettlement and emergency response efforts. Murat Polat holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Atatürk University, completed in October 2022.
