Tamer Essam has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Tamer started their career at Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport as an Instructor for Data Networks Essentials. Tamer then joined Fujitsu as an IT System Support Specialist, where they handled installation, configuration, maintenance, and technical support for various IT systems. Tamer then moved on to Vodafone Egypt, where they filled the roles of Data Networks Engineer and IT/Technology Senior Project Manager, managing large-scale IT projects and network operations. After that, they worked at Telecom Egypt as the Strategic Planning & Performance Management Manager, Customer Experience Program Manager, and Commercial PMO Manager. Currently, Tamer is the Head of Corporate PMO Department at Zain.
Tamer Essam earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from AAST "Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport" in Alexandria, Egypt. Prior to that, they attended Lycee El-Horeya Language School in Alexandria, Egypt for their high school education. Tamer also holds certifications in CCNP from Cisco, CXPA from the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA), and Customer Centricty from Tmforum. Additionally, they have additional certifications in ITIL and PMP.
