Devon Dowell has a strong background in the oil and gas industry, with expertise in seismic processing. Devon has served as the Vice President of Seismic Processing at Z-Terra Inc. since March 2010. Prior to that, Devon worked at ADC Petroleum, LLC, where they held the position of President from May 2002 to January 2009. Before that, they were the Chief Operating Officer at eSeis, Inc. from October 1999 to May 2002. Devon also served as the Vice President of Operations at Coherence Technology Company from September 1995 to July 1999. Devon began their career in 1981 as a Senior Geophysicist in Research & Development at Geophysical Services Inc., Halliburton Geophysical Service, Western Geophysical, where they worked until August 1995. Devon has a strong technical background, having started their career as an Avionics Technician in the United States Navy and Hughes Aircraft Company from 1971 to 1980.

Devon Dowell attended College of the Sequoias from 1976 to 1978, where they pursued an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Mathematics and Physics. Following this, from 1979 to 1981, Devon attended San Diego State University, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Geology.
