Shelley Carthen Watson serves as the President and CEO of YWCA Minneapolis since August 2021. Prior to this role, Shelley held the position of Senior Associate General Counsel at the University of Minnesota for over two decades. Shelley Carthen Watson holds a Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Law & Society, Political Science, and Sociology from Macalester College.
