Elizabeth Brown has diverse and extensive work experience. Elizabeth currently serves as the President and CEO at YWCA Columbus since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at the City of Columbus, where they served as a Columbus City Councilmember from 2016 to 2022 and also worked as a Downtown Development Manager from 2014 to 2015. In 2017, Brown joined Innovation Ohio as the Women's Public Policy Network Director. Elizabeth has also worked at the Ohio Democratic Party as a Deputy Director from 2011 to 2014 and as a Political Director in 2011. Additionally, they served as the Political Director at the Ohio House Democratic Caucus from 2009 to 2011. Brown started their career as an Editorial Assistant at New York Magazine in 2007 and also worked as a Campaign Director at Citizens for Garland in 2008. Elizabeth has a strong background in politics, policy, and nonprofit service.
Elizabeth Brown attended Columbia University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
