Sabir Sami currently holds the position of Member of the Board of Directors at Save the Children Canada since July 2024. Previously, Sabir Sami has been with Yum! Brands since January 2019, serving as KFC Global Chief Executive Officer and has held various roles including KFC Global COO / Asia Managing Director and Managing Director for MenaPakT & Asia. Prior experience includes roles such as General Manager at Yum! Restaurants International overseeing the Middle East, North Africa, Pakistan, and Turkey, as well as Managing Director for Yum! Restaurants in Turkey, and General Manager at Yum! Restaurants International in Canada. Earlier career highlights include positions at Reckitt Benckiser in both Canada and Pakistan, Coca-Cola in marketing, and Procter & Gamble as Brand Manager. Sabir Sami earned an MBA in Business and another MBA in Marketing from Karachi University and the Institute of Business Administration, respectively. Advanced levels were completed at St Edwards College.
